Global Ambassador Internships (Unpaid)
Global Ambassador Internships start at the beginning of each academic year. Students who have been abroad can choose from various internationally focused activities around campus, including promoting study abroad, sharing resources and connecting with the international community. Interns complete 10 activities per academic year. Contact Arianna Austin for more information.

Classroom Visit Internships (Unpaid)
Classroom Visit Internships start at the beginning of each semester. Students who have been abroad can talk about their experience and encourage other students to go abroad. Interns give 5–10 minute promotional presentations to undergraduate classes. Interns visit 15 classes per semester. Contact Arianna Austin for more information.

Graduate Student Internships (Unpaid)
Graduate students can gain experience working directly with University of Minnesota students and Learning Abroad Center staff members. More information is available here.

Upper Midwest Education Abroad Professional (UMEAP)

UMEAP is comprised of study abroad professional from local colleges and universities. It meets on a monthly basis to discuss current international education issues and share ideas and expertise. UMEAP meetings offer networking opportunities for professionals of or newcomers to the field. Subscribe to the UMEAP listserv that announces meetings times and locations.
