The Learning Abroad Resource Center in 230 Heller Hall (map) gives you further information to explore study abroad, work, internship and volunteer opportunities. Key resource components include:

  • Program selection advisers are available 10 am to 4 pm (M), 1 pm to 4 pm (Tu), and 10 am to 4 pm (W-F), to talk with you about programs.  Office hours for other services are 9 am-4 pm Monday-Friday.
  • Brochures, materials, photos, and videos covering the University of Minnesota administered and affiliated programs.
  • Applications for Learning Abroad Center administrated Study Abroad programs, and for some affiliated programs.
  • Catalogs on programs offered by other US and foreign institutions.
  • Reference books on study abroad, including financial resources, disability accommodations, and multicultural students abroad.
  • Evaluations completed by returned students describing their study abroad experiences.
  • Computers to search databases and the internet.
  • The Learning Abroad Travel Services Center offers an extensive library of travel guides and peer advisers to help you plan your sojourn abroad. Other services, such as rail passes, passport photos and international student ID cards, are also available.
