Importance of Adaptability (Denise Demello)
As a student at the College of New Rochelle in New York, Denise decided to spend her junior year abroad at Lancaster University. She uses an electric scooter for mobility. Lancaster University interviewed her during her stay in England during the 1992-93 academic year, and again two years later, when she was pursuing graduate studies in Social Work at Columbia University.
