Site Visit to Italy
(October 12-19, 2002 )

  1. Culture and Language in Florence
    Students take classes in language and culture in a 15th-century palazzo adorned with murals and statues. The resources of the city will enrich their studies and the warm and friendly Florentines are happy to encourage language acquisition.
  2. Area Studies in Milan
    Students choose from language and area studies courses at the Instituto Universitario di Lingue Moderne (IULM), in Milan, a hub of Italian business, industry, fashion, and design.
  3. Bologna Cooperative Studies Program
    Students take courses at Europe’s oldest institution of higher learning and one of Italy’s most respected universities, the University of Bologna. Combine regular university courses with special Bologna Cooperative Studies Program (BCSP) courses.

Site Visit to Mexico
(January 4-11, 2003)

  1. Language and Culture in Cuernavaca, Mexico
    Students enroll in language classes emphasize developing Spanish language skills through listening and speaking. Semester students interested in experiencing life in a small Mexican village have the option to temporarily transfer their studies to the town of Buenavista de Cuéllar, a traditional Mexican village one hour from Cuernavaca.
  2. Exchange in Guadalajara, Mexico
    Students enjoy the natural beauty of Mexico while exploring the country’s complex social, economic, and historical forces. Attend university classes with Mexican and international students. This affordable exchange program provides a high degree of independence and immersion in Mexican academic and cultural life.

Site Visit to England
(February 1-8, 2003)

  1. Several Study Abroad Opportunities in London
    London and the surrounding area offer a variety of traditional and non-traditional study abroad experiences from internships to direct enrollment in prestigious institutes such as Oxford. Students may study literature, the arts, theater, social sciences, or practically any other field.
  2. Study Abroad in Lancaster
    The University of Lancaster is one of the United Kingdom’s most highly ranked and well-respected universities, known for its innovative curricula and esteemed faculty. Students may choose from the university’s wide variety of courses in almost every discipline, allowing them to create a broad and diverse curriculum, or further study in their major.
  3. Study in England at Birmingham
    Students enrich their college experience by spending an academic-year abroad at the University of Birmingham, 110 miles northwest of London. Students can directly enroll in courses which span many disciplines, allowing them to complete liberal education requirements as well as to fulfill major/minor requirements.
