Electrical Adapters
Throughout the world, wall outlets have different configurations. Buy an adapter plug so you can plug your US appliances into wall outlets internationally. |
||||
![]() |
Remember adapters are different than converters. Check the voltage range on your appliances before plugging them into any outlet abroad. Adapter plugs do not convert electricity! The voltage of wall outlets is configured differently in each country. Plugging a 110 volt appliance into a 220 volt outlet will ruin the appliance and possibly the electrical wiring of the building. If you don't know what type of outlets exist in the country you're traveling to, visit the online guide. |
