Description
Explore the agricultural production systems, food processing, and
marketing structures in Morocco, accompanied by a College of Food, Agricultural,
and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) faculty member.
Curriculum
Spend two weeks in May on a combination of excursions, field trips,
and visits with individuals engaged in Moroccan agricultural and
food systems. During Spring Semester students attend several sessions
utilizing readings and coursework designed to provide familiarity
with Moroccan culture, trip logistics, and agricultural and food
systems. Credit granted for Agri 3000, Spring Semester. Instruction
in English by CFANS and Moroccan faculty. Typical credits: 3 for
Spring Semester.
Eligibility & Application Open to freshmen and above. Applications reviewed until December
deadline.
