Description
Study at the University of Mauritius, an aesthetic blend of vintage
and modern buildings in the scenic
and historic setting of Le Réduit. Mauritius is an island
nation in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar and the African continent.
It was formed by volcanoes and is surrounded by coral reefs. Mauritius
has a multicultural society in which the cultures blend and mix
harmoniously. The population is made up of people from Indian, African,
Chinese, and French origin. Most members of the population speak
English, French, and Creole. English is the official language of
the government
and education. Some
knowledge of the French language is recommended.
Curriculum Study
a wide variety of courses taught in English in business, humanities,
social science, and science at the University of Mauritius.
Eligibility
& Application Open to University of Minnesota juniors and above with 3.0
GPA. Applications reviewed until late March for fall semester and
academic year; mid-October for spring semester.
