Discover the biodiversity and biogeography of the Galapagos Islands and experience what inspired Darwin's theory of evolution. This program includes 11 days in the Galapagos Islands where you learn about conservation and research at the Charles Darwin Research Station and see the plants, birds, and animals of the islands. Classroom instruction is held on the University of Minnesota campus both before and after the time in the Galapagos Islands.

Eligibility
and Application
Open to University of Minnesota undergraduate students with preference given to students with an interest in natural history, evolution and animal behavior.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the program fills.

The program fee is approximately $3700 and includes tuition and fees, international airfare, local transportation, housing (while abroad), some meals (while abroad) and international health insurance.
