IES Reduced Program Fee
IES offers a fee reduction for public university students for semester and academic year programs. The University of Minnesota program cost to students, after the University of Minnesota fee, is a $500 discount on IES’s semester and academic year programs. International insurance and miscellaneous program expenses are additional.

University of Minnesota Program Fee
Students participating on cosponsored programs are charged a University of Minnesota program fee which is inclusive of the cosponsor’s program fee, the University of Minnesota fee and international health insurance. Based on these additional services and benefits, the fee is higher than the program sponsor's published fee. The University of Minnesota fee covers the cost of application processing, advising services, orientation, course registration, grade transfer and posting for residence credit, and assistance with financial aid when applicable.
