With campuses in two attractive coastal cities, James Cook University provides a great academic base from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforest, and outback.

Faculty & Staff


James Cook University has staff available to provide orientation, on-site support, and advising to help you adjust to a new educational system and integrate into campus life.

Housing & Meals


You can choose between on- and off-campus housing accommodations. Meal plans vary by campus. Students at the Townsville campus may choose whether or not they wish to have a meal plan. Students at the Cairns campus have a meal plan
part of their housing.

Excursions & Social Activities


The International Student Centre staff organize excursions during orientation week.
