About the Program
Study at the University of Hiroshimas spacious campus, located 30 minutes outside of central Hiroshima. This bilateral exchange provides an affordable study abroad option featuring complete immersion at a Japanese university specifically selected to meet the needs of University of Minnesota students.
Faculty & Staff
The Hiroshima Study Abroad
Program staff will be your main on-site staff during your time in
Hiroshima.
Housing & Meals
The majority of international
students live in on-campus housing in the Ikenoue dormitory. Japanese
students live in this dorm, and so this is a great way to integrate
into university life.
You may also choose to live in an apartment, although this is a much more expensive option.
Excursions
& Social Activities
There are numerous opportunities to get involved at Hiroshima University.
The Hiroshima University Study Abroad program organizes conversation
partners, homestay opportunities, and various events throughout
the year. These events include different festivals, cherry blossom
viewing, and more.
