Description
Study Japanese culture and language at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, the second largest city in Japan and an important trading center.

Curriculum
Choose four courses from the Japanese language program, or courses in the humanities, social sciences, and business. Instruction is in English by Japanese faculty. Typical credits: 24–30 for academic year; 12–15 for fall or spring semester.

Eligibility & Application
Open to University of Minnesota freshmen and above with 3.0 GPA. Previous study of Japanese language is encouraged but not required. Applications are reviewed until mid-February.

Students from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities participating on University of Minnesota-Morris programs are charged a program fee. The fee for this program can be used to assist in estimating cost and is available by contacting the University of Minnesota-Morris Center for International Programs.
