Academic Fit with a University of Minnesota Degree Plan
With good academic planning this program can fit well into
the degree plans for many majors. Search for courses that fulfill Liberal Education
Requirements or submit a course you want to take for review.
Study Abroad
in Your Major advising sheets explain why study abroad is important for a
major, indicate what the department wants students to consider when selecting
a program, and provide academic planning hints. This program may appear as a special
recommendation on an advising sheet. If your major is not listed, talk to an adviser—this
program may still fit your academic, career, and professional goals.
After you've chosen a program and identified the courses you want to take, departmental and college advisers can evaluate whether or not the course work can be used toward your major or to meet other requirements.
It's important to be somewhat flexible in planning your courses. Sometimes course information isn't immediately available, so you may need to correspond directly with the host university.
Estimated Cost
Program fees include tuition, fees, and international health insurance. Housing,
meals, airfare, and personal expenses are additional. Use the budget
estimate (pdf) for this program to help plan for the estimate cost of the program.
Participating students receive updated cost information as soon as it is
available.
