About the Program
This program is designed for students wishing to enroll in courses at the University of Freiburg. Students choose courses from a wide range of fields at the University.
Freiburg's proximity to the Black Forest, France, and Switzerland provides the perfect backdrop to explore the city's unique history, culture, and political life.

The Institute for the International Education of Students (IES) provides on-site support and arranges student housing. IES also arranges an on-site orientation as well as optional excursions and events.
Housing
& Meals
All program participants
live in university dormitories. Students live in single rooms with
shared bathrooms and kitchens. Although facilities vary, all dorms
have laundry rooms, TV rooms, and lounges. The program arranges
accommodations prior to the students' arrival in Freiburg.
Excursions
& Social Activities
The University of Freiburg
student organizations offer numerous activities and excursions during
the semester. You will also have the option of participating in
the IES activities and excursions
