Description
Known for its scenic canals spanned by
enchanting bridges, expansive plazas, and harmonious architecture-Venice
is an excellent place to develop or improve your printmaking and
drawing skills at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica de Venezia,
located in the heart of the city.
Open to freshmen and above, and graduate students. Applications reviewed until mid-February deadline.
Curriculum
Take Intaglio and Relief and Drawing
Using Venice as a Source. Work independently under the supervision
of the program faculty director. Individual and group discussions
are regularly scheduled. Instruction in English by University of
Iowa faculty.
Typical credits: 6 for summer session.

on this program are charged a program fee that is inclusive of the cosponsored
program's fee and a University of Minnesota fee to cover the cost of application
processing, advising services, orientation, course registration, grade transfer
and posting for resident credit, assistance with financial aid, and international
health insurance. This administrative fee ranges from $500 to $1,500 and varies
by program. The cosponsored program's portion of the program fee can be used to
assist in estimating cost and is available at the program site linked below. In
most cases, airfare, field trips, meals, and personal expenses are additional.
