Eligibility Requirements
This program is open to all individuals. Eligibility does not require University of Minnesota status. Students meeting the criteria below are qualified to apply for this program:

Application Deadlines


Submit complete applications to the Learning Abroad Center according to the appropriate deadline:

*If the deadline falls on a weekend, submit your materials on the following business day.

**Applications from graduate students will be considered after the priority deadline.


Application Approval Process


Here's what to expect after submitting your application to the Learning Abroad Center:

  1. The Learning Abroad Center sends an email notification to confirm that your application has been received.
  2. The Learning Abroad Center emails you to request missing items if your application is incomplete.
  3. Your completed application is reviewed.
  4. The Learning Abroad Center emails you within 3–4 weeks with a decision regarding your acceptance into the program.
  5. If accepted, follow the instructions outlined in the acceptance email. You need to pay a program deposit to the Learning Abroad Center.
  6. If you choose not to complete the application process, email the program contact.
