School for Field Studies Australia
Fees
Estimated Cost
Students participating on affiliated programs are charged a program fee which is inclusive of the affiliate's program fee, University of Minnesota Advising, Placement, Academic and Administrative Costs (APAAC) and international health insurance. The APAAC covers application processing, advising services, orientation, course registration, grade transfer and posting for resident credit as well as program billing and assistance with financial aid when applicable. Based on these additional services and benefits, the overall program fee may be higher than the affiliate's published program fee.
To calculate the total program fee you will be charged, refer to the affiliated programs APAAC chart for instructions and specific amounts.
For more specific information about fees, visit the School for Field Studies website.
When reviewing costs for your program, budget for additional expenses not included in your program fee, such as airfare, meals, books and travel documents. See Financial Information for tips about comparing costs.
Billing
Your affiliated program fee will be billed to your University student billing account and is payable via the same method and due dates as regular University of Minnesota tuition. The University will pay the provider on your behalf.
Some programs may require direct payment for items such as housing, supplementary meal plans, tuition and course fees upon arrival. Contact your affiliate if you need these additional expenses deferred until the release of your financial aid.
