Freshman Seminars Abroad

Freshman Seminars Abroad are interdisciplinary, experiential-based programs designed specifically for first year students on campus.

While abroad, you will use the city as your classroom as you explore the academic content of the course. In addition to traditional classroom based meetings you will encounter experiential-based activities such as excursions, walking tours, and visits to museums, local organizations, and cultural sites.

These activities take advantage of location and local expertise to enhance learning and help the academic content “come to life.” Both the traditional classroom meetings as well as the experiential activities are essential to the Freshman Seminar Abroad and your attendance and engagement is required.
